I had the privilege of being part of the Isola PechaKucha night hosted by Iguzzini in Dubai Design District (d3), and it was an absolute celebration of creativity and innovation. The theme for the evening was "Free your Mind," and it was truly remarkable to see the creative sparks fly in a room filled with designers, creatives, entrepreneurs, students, and professors from the dynamic worlds of design and architecture.
My talk, titled "Unleash your Design Potential - The Sky is the Limit," was a chance to share my insights into the pivotal role educators play in nurturing the talents of design students. It was an absolute honor to have my talented student, Heba Dweik, present her outstanding graduation project, a testament to the power of education in shaping the designers of tomorrow.
As educators, we equip our students with the knowledge, data, and analysis they need to excel, but we also encourage them to let their creativity soar, to reach for the stars, and to transform their dreams into incredible designs. It's an incredible journey, and events like this remind us of the boundless possibilities that lie ahead.
